Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Contribute to the planning process
   • Planning tasks specific to the biosecurity emergency response are identified
2. Individual role and responsibilities within the biosecurity emergency response team are identified, in accordance with organisational procedures and in consultation with approved personnel
3. Biosecurity emergency response planning tasks and outputs are identified
4. Timelines and potential constraints with the biosecurity emergency response planning processes are identified
5. Legislative requirements, industry standards, codes of practice and safe work practices for health and wellbeing are identified and implemented, in accordance with organisational procedures
6. Perform planning activities
   • Sources of biosecurity emergency response planning information are identified and used, in accordance with organisational procedures
7. An information collection plan is followed and implemented, as required
8. Information is prepared in the required format for biosecurity emergency response planning task outputs
9. Biosecurity emergency response planning task outputs are recorded and documented, in accordance with organisational procedures, using approved incident management system templates and technology
10. Biosecurity emergency response planning task outputs are disseminated to approved personnel, in accordance with organisational procedures and requirements
